Don received his M.A., International Relations, the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, Medford, MA. His thesis topic and main area of academic focus was the role of intellectual property protection in developing economies. He is proficient in French (or was, at one time), and speaks barely passable Spanish.
